Founding Account Executive

Brico is hiring our first-ever Founding Account Executives on the GTM team. If you love being the tip of the spear, experimenting with different approaches, and building a sales motion from the ground up, you’ll thrive here. You’ll be wearing SDR, sales and strategy hats, all while helping refine our GTM playbook.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting product demos to new and existing pipeline, negotiating contracts, and closing new business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Prod-Eng and Compliance teams to align on product positioning and to share prospect feedback.
- Proactively source new leads and test outbound strategies to expand market reach.
- Contribute to the sales playbook and overall sales strategy.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and pipeline health.
- Help organize and attend events to grow awareness and drive pipeline
- Strategize with Head of GTM on increasing sales velocity and ACV
- Discover, evaluate and use GTM tools, including Hubspot, to capture data and create efficiencies in our sales motion
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have 5-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably at an early-stage startup.
- Can demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in previous roles.
- Are a hunter with ability to generate pipeline through creative approaches.
- Can understand technical and/or regulatory concepts and apply them to prospect’s business in a consultative sale.
- Are an excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator.
- Excel at building strong relationships and understanding client needs.
- Are proficient with CRM tools, sales engagement platforms and AI tools
- Grit is your middle name—you know how to do a lot with a little
- Thrive in ambiguity and want a front-row seat in growing a fast-moving startup
- Are hungry to learn and grow fast
- Prior FinTech experience is a plus
